Kaiketsu Zorori and the Wizard's Apprentice (かいけつゾロリのまほうつかいのでし Kaiketsu Zorori no Mahōtsukai no Deshi)) is the 3rd "Kaiketsu Zorori" picture book by Yutaka Hara.
Story[]
Zorori runs into a group of animals that have been turned into objects. He says he will go to the wizard to change them back, but his real intentions are to become a apprentice of the wizard and learn magic.

- The story theme and title is presumably adapted from "The Sorceror's Apprentice" from Disney's Fantasia film.
- This book was later adapted into the 1st Zorori anime titled "The Wizard's Apprentice."
- This book was also adapted into both 1989 and 1993 ovas.
